Where is your weak spot?  Is there a place that Satan can come in and provoke you to become doubtful or unsure of your faith?  This is the time when we need to exercise our trust in God and that will build our faith muscles.  The more times we prevail by trusting God and overcoming the devil’s lies the stronger our faith will become. 

There are days when we feel like we are a ship upon a stormy sea; or a leaf dancing in the wind. We don’t feel like we have control, we are helpless before the storms that come against us.  Have you ever just wanted a rock to hold onto?  Jesus is that rock!  We can count on Him to be our anchor through the rough and stormy seas.

Circumstances may appear bleak, the rain is pouring and the wind is blowing, but we are not alone in our journey.  God is always as close as our next breath.  He is as close as a whispered prayer away.  Take heart, little sparrow, and count your blessings.

The darkness is here to cloud the way and frighten those who do not yet know Jesus.  Let’s help point the way to the Son! 

What is your level of tolerance for receiving counsel from another?  Do you take offense or are you eager to listen to another’s opinion?  If we are with someone who cares about us, it shouldn’t be difficult to listen to their advice. 

Knowing that God is working things out for our good.  We learn patience, hope, endurance.   We gain strength and are not fragile and easily broken.  We become strong, resilient and unshakeable.

Following Jesus is always best for us, our friends and family.  There is always a temptation to do things our own way.  We can do things that seem obviously right to us at the time.   But there is a slower, more thoughtful way of living.  That is to take time to find wisdom in the scriptures, pray, and seek counsel from other mature believers.  Seeking advice from friends who are no wiser than we are is going to provide poor results.
